Our Story
Where It All Began
Growing up outside Chicago, I spent my childhood on my grandfather's farm. He'd hit golf balls into cornfields, which is where i fell in love with golf, even if i didn't know it yet.
When I moved from Chicago to San Diego, I ended up living right across the street from a golf course. Every morning I'd watch people out there at sunrise and couldn't figure out what the hype was about, so I finally went to find out! The first time I went to the driving range, I had no idea what I was doing. No clue what to wear, how to act, or even how to get a bucket of balls. But after one hit, I was hooked.
I got a few of my girlfriends into golf and suddenly we all had our own clubs. It became a fun, feel good way to spend time together and try something new.
The only thing missing was golf clothes that felt like me— comfortable, cute, and not super serious. I kept thinking back to my grandfather and his vintage aesthetic that never tried too hard but always looked right.
That's what Henslowe is, a nod to that feeling. Vintage-inspired golf apparel for the modern woman, whether it's your first swing or your first birdie.
